The Floyd County Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Committee has extended the deadline for chamber scholarship applications to Friday, April 19th due to ongoing issues with the new simplified FAFSA form. The requirement for including a completed FAFSA has been removed.
The Floyd County Chamber of Commerce Scholarship consists of two non-renewable scholarship awards of $500 each. These scholarships are available to Floyd County graduating seniors. One scholarship is for a trade school or community college and one is for a 4-year college/university. The John McEnhill Legacy Scholarship is a $1,000 award based on leadership and community service. Completed applications, including all supporting documentation, must be submitted by Friday, April 19th. Applications must be submitted online.
