Your chamber has offered scholarships for several decades. Currently, the chamber offers two $500 scholarships. One scholarship is intended for a trade school/community college and one is for a four-year college/university. Eligible students include any graduating Floyd County resident senior who intends to attend a college or trade school. Floyd County High School students, Springhouse Community School students, home-schooled students, and any other Floyd County youth that are planning to attend a qualified post-high school education program are encouraged to apply.
2021 Scholarship Recipients
- Caileigh Chaffin received the scholarship for a four year college/university student. She will attend Radford University this fall, majoring in Early Childhood Education/Early Childhood Special Education.
- Mitchell C. Cox received the scholarship for a community college/trade school student. Mitchell will attend New River Community College as a student in the Electrical Engineering Program.

The chamber’s scholarship application form can be picked up from the guidance counseling office at Floyd County High School.
