The Floyd County Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Committee has extended the deadline for chamber scholarship applications to Friday, April 19th due to ongoing issues with the new simplified FAFSA form. The requirement for including a completed FAFSA has been removed.
The Floyd County Chamber of Commerce is offering the John McEnhill Legacy Scholarship. The scholarship is to support students with a GPA of 2.0 and above who desire to bring their talents, abilities, and skills back to Floyd County and enhance our community through involvement and volunteerism.
In addition, the chamber also offers two $500 scholarships. One scholarship is intended for a trade school/community college and one is for a four-year college/university. Eligible students include any graduating Floyd County resident senior who intends to attend a college or trade school.
